Author Guidelines

  1. Authorship Criteria
    The journal follows the ICMJE authorship criteria. Authors should meet all four conditions:

    • Substantial contributions to the conception, design, data acquisition, or analysis and interpretation of data.
    • Drafting or critically revising the article for intellectual content.
    • Final approval of the version to be published.
    • Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that any questions related to the accuracy or integrity of the work are appropriately addressed.
  2. Conflict of Interest
    Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work. This includes employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, and paid expert testimony.

  3. Ethical Considerations
    Authors should ensure that their work adheres to ethical standards, including the approval of studies by relevant ethics committees (for studies involving human participants) and informed consent if applicable.

  4. Originality and Plagiarism
    The journal does not tolerate plagiarism. Authors should ensure that their work is original, properly citing the work of others. Similarity checks will be conducted during the submission process.

  5. Manuscript Preparation

    • Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in a standard format (e.g., Microsoft Word or LaTeX).
    • Language: All submissions must be in English.
    • Structure: Follow IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) format for research articles.
    • Word Count: Research articles should not exceed 5,000 words, while case reports should not exceed 3,000 words.
    • References: Use Vancouver referencing style. Ensure all references are properly cited according to ICMJE guidelines.
    • Tables and Figures: Provide tables and figures with appropriate captions and ensure they are referenced in the text.
  6. Reporting Guidelines

    • Follow appropriate guidelines based on study type:
      • CONSORT for randomized trials
      • PRISMA for systematic reviews
      • CARE for case reports
      • STROBE for observational studies
      • ICMJE's Uniform Requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals.
  7. Clinical Trials Registration
    Authors reporting results from clinical trials should provide trial registration details, following ICMJE recommendations.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Submission Process
    Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal's online submission system at ReAttach Affect Coach Journal Submission Portal. The corresponding author will be responsible for communications with the editorial office and submission updates.

  2. Peer Review Process

    • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
    • Initial screening by the editorial team will ensure adherence to submission guidelines and ethical standards.
    • If the submission passes the initial screening, it will be sent to at least two independent reviewers for evaluation.
  3. Manuscript Categories
    The journal accepts submissions in the following categories:

    • Original Research Articles: Full reports of data from original research.
    • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of current developments in the field.
    • Case Reports: Reports on novel cases or rare conditions.
    • Letters to the Editor: Brief observations or case comments.
  4. Revisions and Resubmission
    Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback. Revised manuscripts must be submitted within the designated time, typically within 30 days for major revisions.

  5. Ethical Compliance
    Authors must adhere to COPE's ethical standards. Submissions should declare approval by an ethics committee where applicable, and participants' consent must be obtained for identifiable data.
